Dr. Evelyn Cho

Evelyn ChoDr. Evelyn Cho is a postdoctoral fellow and project director of the Youth FIRST Study in the Lab for Youth Mental Health. Evelyn earned her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of California Los Angeles, and her master's and doctoral degree in clinical child psychology at the University of Missouri, during which she completed her predoctoral internship at the University of California Los Angeles Semel Institute. Broadly, her interest is in improving the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices (EBPs) for youth mental health problems to community settings where historically underserved youths access mental health care. Her program of research has focused on three complementary approaches to improving community-based EBP use: (1) advancing our understanding of the contexts that support successful EBP implementation; (2) evaluating and refining interventions and service delivery models through research-community partnerships; and (3) developing clinician support tools to support successful EBP delivery in real-world implementation settings.
