Francis Anthony Bonadio, Ph.D. A former postdoctoral fellow in our lab, Tony is now a Research Assistant Profession in the School of Social Work at University of Maryland Baltimore and a faculty member in The Institute for Innovation and Implementation. More information here

Brian Chu, Ph.D. Formerly a postdoctoral fellow in the lab at UCLA, Brian is now a Professor and Director of the Youth Anxiety and Depression Clinic, at Rutgers University. He also recently received the coveted Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation Young Investigator Award for his research on behavioral activation among middle school youth. More information here

Jennifer Connor-Smith, Ph.D. A former postdoctoral fellow in the lab, Jennifer is now an Associate Professor at Oregon State University in the Department of Psychology.

Dikla Eckshtain, Ph.D. A former postdoctoral fellow in the lab, Dikla is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. More information here

Geri R. Donenberg, Ph.D. Geri earned both her Master's and Doctorate in Psychology at UCLA, where she was mentored by Dr. Weisz. Currently, she is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. More information here

Sarah E. Francis, Ph.D. Sarah completed a post-doctoral fellowship with Dr. Weisz at Judge Baker Children's Center, Harvard Medical School. Joe Albert Garcia, Ph.D. Joe was a graduate student in the Weisz lab at UCLA. He is now at California State University at Fullerton, where he is an Associate Professor in the Human Services Department as well as the Director in the office of Graduate Studies. More information here

Elana B. Gordis, Ph.D. Formerly a postdoctoral fellow in the lab, Elana is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University at Albany, SUNY. More information here

Douglas Granger, Ph.D. As a postdoctoral fellow at UCLA, Doug collaborated with Dr. Weisz on studies of clinic-referred children. He has held faculty positions at Johns Hopkins University, Arizona State University (an endowed professorship), and the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Doug is now at the University of California at Irvine where he is a Chancellor’s Professor of Psychology, Public Health, and Pediatrics as well as the Inaugural Director of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Salivary Bioscience Research.

Susan S. Han, Ph.D. Susan was a graduate student in the Weisz lab at UCLA. Presently, she is a Senior Research Associate with the Center for Psychotherapy Research and Policy in the Institute for Public Policy Studies at Vanderbilt University.

Kristin M. Hawley, Ph.D. A former graduate student in the Weisz lab at UCLA, Kristin is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri, Columbia. More information here

Jenny Herren, Ph.D. A former postdoctoral fellow in the lab, and Lab Director, Jenny is now Clinical Assistant Professor at Brown University, and a Staff Psychologist at the Pediatric Anxiety Research Clinic (PARC) of Rhode Island Hospital. More information here

Stanley Huey, Ph.D. Stan studied under Dr. Weisz while pursuing his doctoral degree at UCLA. Presently, he is an Associate Professor of Psychology and American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of Southern California. More information here

Michael Lambert, Ph.D. Michael was a graduate student in the Weisz lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has held faculty positions at Michigan State University, the University of Missouri (an endowed professorship), and is currently a Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Lauren Krumholz Marchette, Ph.D. A former postdoctoral fellow in our Harvard lab, and Lab Director, Lauren is an Instructor in Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School (HMS). She was the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Clinic at Cambridge Health Alliance, and she currently teaches and supervises HMS psychology and psychiatry trainees in evidence-based youth psychotherapies.

Carolyn A. McCarty, Ph.D. Cari was a graduate student in the Weisz lab at UCLA. She now works as a Research Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Washington in Seattle. More information here

Christopher Rutt, Ph.D. Formerly a graduate student in our Harvard lab, Chris is currently a postdoctoral fellow with Geisinger Hospital's Integrated Pediatric Primary Care team. Christopher A. Thurber, Ph.D. Chris, a student in the Weisz lab during his graduate school years at UCLA, is currently a tenured faculty member at Phillips Exeter Academy and an entrepreneur who designs live and online educational content for camps and schools worldwide. Ana Ugueto, Ph.D. A former postdoctoral fellow in the lab at Judge Baker, and Lab Director, Ana is now Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, Houston, Texas. She currently works on the Child and Adolescent Unit at UTHealth Harris County Psychiatric Center (HCPC) where she provides psychological consultation services. She regularly conducts group and individual assessments and therapy in an inpatient setting. Dr. Ugueto also specializes in disseminating evidence-based treatments (EBTs) in the community. Her research interests include suicidality in adolescents, dissemination and implementation of EBTs and factor analyses of youth mental health. More information here

Rachel Vaughn-Coaxum, Ph.D. Formerly a graduate student in our Harvard lab, Rachel is now a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine/Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.

Bernadette Walter, Ph.D. At the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Dr. Weisz acted as Bernadette's mentor and dissertation chair while pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is now a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychology and Director of the Noble H. Kelley Psychological Services Center at the University of Louisville. More information here

V. Robin Weersing, Ph.D. Robin completed her Ph.D. at UCLA under the mentorship of Dr. Weisz. Presently, she is a Professor with the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychology at San Diego State University and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego. Bahr Weiss, Ph.D. A former graduate student in the Weisz lab, Bahr is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Human Development at Vanderbilt University, and Director of Clinical Training for the PhD Clinical Sciences (clinical psychology) program at the Vanderbilt Peabody College of Education and Human Development. He also is Senior Fellow at the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health and for the past ten years has been a Visiting Foreign Professor at Vietnam National University, where he and his colleagues established the first Master's and PhD programs in clinical psychology in Vietnam. More information here

Adam S. Weissman, Ph.D. Formerly a postdoctoral fellow in the lab at Judge Baker, Adam is the Founder & Executive Director of The Child & Family Institute in New York, an interdisciplinary behavioral health program, faculty practice, and training center specializing in evidence-based treatments for emotional, behavioral, and related disorders in youth. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University-Teacher’s College where he trains and supervises Ph.D. students in CBT with children and adolescents. More information here
