Headshot - Katherine HayesKatherine Hayes (she/her) is a research assistant in the Lab for Youth Mental Health. She is originally from Denver, Colorado and received her B.A. in Psychology and Humanities from Villanova University. She is finishing her M.S. in Psychology at Villanova, where her research investigated family well-being and infant development in families experiencing poverty and homelessness in Philadelphia. Katherine is interested in factors in the family and community systems that can promote resilience in contexts of early childhood stress and using developmental science to inform services provided to children and families in communities. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical or developmental psychology.
