Iyanu Shonukan

Iyanuoluwa (Iyanu) Shonukan is a research assistant on the SMILE project at the Lab for Youth Mental Health. He’s currently a sophomore at Harvard studying Neuroscience & Psychology, with aspirations to become a physician. Iyanu’s research interests lie in child psychopathology, the social determinants of health, and resilience factors that facilitate healthy development. He hopes to contribute his efforts to improving culturally responsive care, especially in marginalized communities. In his free time he loves working out, playing guitar, or making YouTube videos.
