Mai Jiaying Xu

Mai Jiaying Xu is a research assistant on the SMILE Project team in the Lab for Youth Mental Health at Harvard University. She recently completed her B.A. and M.A. in Experimental Psychology at Brandeis University and also works as a research assistant on the Emotion Regulation Project in the Emotion and Psychopathology in Context Lab at Harvard. Currently, she is focused on identifying protective traits and mechanisms that support cognitive functioning in individuals with high levels of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Key Laboratory of Cognitive Science and Mental Health.
