Sakshi Khurana, M.A.
Sakshi Khurana is a doctoral student at Alaska Pacific University, and a Research Fellow in the Weisz Lab for Youth Mental Health at Harvard University. Her current work in the Lab is as a Project Director for an IES-funded meta-analysis project on the efficacy of school-based mental health interventions. Sakshi holds a master’s in clinical psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in India and a master’s in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, specializing in prevention science and practice. Her research interests are preventive mental health care in school settings, and investigating protective factors against suicidality. While not engaging in research, Sakshi enjoys cooking, exploring nature, and participating in her SGI Buddhist activities.
