Janie Mehringer is a research assistant in the Lab for Youth Mental Health at Harvard University. She is from Nantucket, MA, and is a senior at Simmons University, where she is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Public Health. Her interests include investigating the mental health of individuals, specifically children, living in conflict and post-conflict zones and examining/developing interventions to support those affected by it, and researching the effectiveness of telemedicine. In her free time, she enjoys reading, doing pottery and ceramics, and traveling.
