Tess Trahan is a research assistant in the Lab for Youth Mental Health for the Youth FIRST Project at Harvard University. She is originally from Sandy Hook, Connecticut and is currently earning her B.A. in Psychology from Simmons University. Her research interests include child and developmental psychology and educational psychology. She plans to apply to graduate school with hopes of pursuing a career in school psychology. She hopes to increase availability of mental health care and special education testing by working with vulnerable communities who lack access to such care.
